PORTSMOUTH, RI, USA-(6-5-2003) Demonstrating their dedication to encourage
youth sailing as a positive recreational activity, all four sponsors of US
SAILING’s U.S. Youth Championship have announced their continued sponsorship

Gill. The event will be held June 20-26 and hosted by the Milwaukee Yacht
Club.

This is the second consecutive year The Walt Disney Company is sponsoring
the U.S. Youth Championship. As part of its sponsorship, Disney will provide
financial support for costs associated with running the 6-day regatta,
including maintenance of a web site dedicated specifically to youth and US
SAILING. The website includes daily reports and results, competitor
interviews, photos, sailor and coach bios, as well as a host of other
information.
Gill is also continuing its support of the prestigious event as official

Considered the premier youth sailing event in the country, the U.S. Youth
Championship was first held in 1973. The top 150 sailors are selected from
more than 300 applicants based on resumes. The final selection will be
announced in May.
